Dan Gralick
Dan Gralick, is the composer and producer of the song, “Ordinary Man” for Perry Cassagnol’s newest feature film entitled “MIAMI 13”. Dan is also an award-winning composer, arranger, sound designer, performer, producer, and engineer.
Dan studied arranging and composition at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and Studio Technology and Practice at the Institute of Audio Research in New York City. He won a bronze medal in the New York Film Festival for his very first venture into film scoring.
As a performer and producer, Dan has worked with some of the top musicians, performers, and entertainment personalities in the US, including rock legends Tom Waits and Southside Johnny, LaBamba (Conan O’Brien’s Basic Cable Band), Bob Bandiera (Jon BonJovi Band), Patti Scialfa (E Street Band), Jon Herrington (Steely Dan), and the world-renowned Georgia Mass Choir.
Dan produced, engineered and mixed “Grapefruit Moon, the Songs of Tom Waits," featuring Southside Johnny, Tom Waits, and LaBamba's 17-piece Big Band. The CD was released on Leroy Records, and has received acclaim from jazz and pop critics alike.
Formerly from New York City, Dan now writes, records and produces from his downtown Miami studio.
